The Aba Area Command of Nigeria Police personnel has arrested one Mba
Akachukwu who poses as a lawyer is being investigated by the police in
Aba for allegedly possessing fake Nigeria counterfeit currencies.
It was gathered that Akachukwu has through the dubious means defrauded a lot of unsuspecting members of the public of cash and has used a fake Identity card to bail a lot of suspects from police custody.
It was gathered that the police on a tip off, stormed his location and arrested him, recovering counterfeit currency papers in five hundred naira and one thousand naira denomination.
Also recovered were several deeds of agreements and invoices, a letterhead paper of Aba North Local Area of the state and two fake identity cards of a litigation officer and Aba North Task Force ID card.
He confessed of being a fake lawyer and being in possession of the fake ID cards and receipts found in his custody.
