Social Media Bill- Aactivists storm NASS for #NoToSocialMedia protest(Photos)

In protest of the Social media bill  “Frivolous Petitions (Prohibitions, Etc.) Bill, 2015″ sponsored by Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah, the Deputy Senate Leader, Nigerian social media activists on Tuesday, stormed the National Assembly, Abuja, for a rally tagged #NoToSocialMediaBill.

The protest which took-off from the Unity Fountain, Maitama, Abuja, was led by activists,Aisha Yesufu, Anthony Ehilebo, Ariyo Atoye and Mukhtar Dan’Iyan,

  4. Nice one! I support them!!! This nonsense must stop. We have laws for libel/defamation in case any party is aggrieved by any report published by him. It's a civil case, why then criminalize it? It must not stand.

  5. its not about sponsoring bills!!! Nigeria should concentrate more on law enforcement. Laws everywhere and bills here and there yet the country is a mess and in chaos.

    O I see a placard....that reads: Nigerians help me. Since 2007, Oguta L.G.A Imo state owe me 900.000. LMAO!!!!
