An outraged R. Kelly walked out of his HuffPost Live interview after 20 minutes on Monday.
The legendary RnB singer who turns 49 next month was promoting his 13th studio album The Buffet, which is projected to sell 100K copies less than his 2013 album Black Panties.
When host,Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani asked if the disappointing sales were a reflection of his sexual abuse allegations,he snapped, accusing her of 'interrogating' him and disrespecting him.He said

'I didn’t come here for negative. I came here for positive...If you don't think you're disrespecting me then that's the level of your intelligence, not mine.'I'm gonna get up and walk out and I'm gonna go to McDonald's. Hopefully, the McRib is out and I'm going to go home to Chicago, play me some basketball, go to the studio, and work on my next album. He said walking out

Asking how his sex life fits into his writing music is the most stupidest question. Someone please check her journalism licence.. Very disrespectful questions! IT IS WELL
ReplyDeleteIt's time people move on frm his past n let him b.
ReplyDeleteThat was very personal question to ask. I would have love R Kelly to handle it much better but the media deserves this at times and for someone who's given a lot to the music industry and gets no deserved respect, the frustrations will come
ReplyDeleteNo time you nonsense again
ReplyDeleteJst walk on maaaaaan
ReplyDeleteCan understand how he felt being asked such question,, but really for RKelly that act has tarnished all he had achieved in the music industry, personally I love him and his music, let it be a thing of the past..!!
ReplyDeleteJust accusations. He has never been convicted by a court. They will always try and bring a talented black man down!
DeleteWhat an interview...not good

Delete@Steveosky4real. 'He didn't do all of those stuff he was accused of. If he did, he'd be in jail right now. Is he? No'. The state have tough lawyers that will bring a case against him that will easily land him in jail. He is a free man because they have nothing against him.
DeleteThis interview is some thng else, love is voice so much...
ReplyDeleteThat's my man, no time for nonsense!
ReplyDeleteLocal interview, he beta not try dat wit me oda wise i'll show him the difference betwn Yankee weed and Oshogbo weed.
ReplyDeleteStupid question!
ReplyDeleteWe think the interview was more of a personal attack on R. Kelly, instead of them concentrating on his music. The lady seems to be negative overall with her words, even when R. Kelly said she was beautiful. They should know overall physical sales of music is falling and also musicians of his era are not pulling in 100k first week sales like they used. Well, every media outlet is desperate for ratings.

Don't blame the singer. The host is just foolish.
