Earlier today ,there was an uproar at the senate after Senator Oluremi, the wife of APC National Leader Bola Tinubu sat on the seat reserved for deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu.

PDP senators immediately shouted her down after she got up to move a motion for the approval of the Lagos state development policy operation loan. She bowed to their pressure and left for her seat to second the motion.The APC leader’s wife, however, returned back to Ekweremadu’s position, who was absent from plenary immediately after she seconded the motion.

Yesterday, the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, alleged an attempt on his life .The attempt which has been reported to the police  involved repeated failed attempts to crash into Senator Ekweremadu’s official vehicle which was in a convoy from his residence to the National Assembly complex yesterday.
