Outrage as James Bond Author claims Idris Elba is "too Street" to play 007

Hopes of Idris Elba taking over as the next James Bond was dashed after one of the Bond writers said he is too street to play the role.This resulted in a massive backlash as many feel that is inappropriate as Idris fits the role perfectly..

A Bond author Anthony Horowitz told  DailyMail
 “For me, Idris Elba is a bit too rough to play the part. It’s not a color issue. I think he is probably a bit too ‘street’ for Bond. Is it a question of being suave? Yeah
The backlash has been massive on twitter as fans irrespective of race have slammed the author ..Outspoken rapper ,Azealia Banks also weighed in on the issue
