Wike has squandered N60bn in 30 days-APC

The Rivers  State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused Nyesom Wike,of squandering over N60 billion in his first 30 days as governor of the oil rich state.They broke down the expenditure to an average of N2 billion per day.
The accusations were laid down in a statement by Rivers APC Chairman, Dr. Davies Ibiamu Ikanya..
“In what is clearly a tale of the absurd, Wike’s rubber stamp State House of Assembly has approved a whopping sum of N30bn within 30 days for expenditure without any project attached.
“Apart from this N30bn, the administration of Rt. Hon. Chbuike Amaechi left the sum of N7.5bn, plus the N23bn released to the state from the Federation Account and Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), making the total funds available for Wike to squander over N60bn within 30 days,” Ikanya said.
“Wike has succeeded in turning Rivers state to one of the dirtiest states in Nigeria and one without security, he has also ensured that our people now sleep with one eye opened!”“The period of sharing Rivers State money among some unscrupulous politicians ceased since 2007 and cannot be reintroduced through the back door,” the party said.
It sympathised with Rivers people on the great tragedy that has befallen them in the person of Wike but appealed to them not to be overly saddened as the rightful Governor, Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside, is only waiting for the Election Petition Tribunal to throw away the unprepared Wike to enable him assume office and clear the mess that Wike is currently creating in the State.

    APC should better respect der old age, dey think Nigerians fools. Hw on earth can someone in his right mind spend 2 billions a day? If dey r looking wat to accuse Wike of, then dey should b practical n stop making unrealistic accusations.

    Honestly APC as a party is making so much noise.... How on earth did they come about with these figures? And who in his right senses would spend such amount of money in 30 days?? Confused set of individuals.!!!

      Wait till you grow old and die. It can never happen. Pdp rules rivers state. If they like even as buhari is presido they should re contest rivers election 100 times wike will still win dakuku. Mschhh did ameachi leave even 1 naira in the treasury so where is 60 billion coming from

    APC always crying foul. They never talk about the mess the left the state in. Gov Ameachi left debts in excess of N17b. 2 months salary of civil servants in the state, the states monthly wage bill is about 7b so do the maths inclusive of other debts. How can Wike would have spent 60b? That the House of Assembly has approved some loans to enable Wike get the state out of the mess Ameachi left does not mean the funds have been disbursed. APC please come up with more genuine propaganda. The people of Rivers State know your evils perpetrated for the past 8 years by Ameachi

    This rivers apc should be ashamed of themselves! Instead of apologising for the mess they left Rivers in, they are here spewing trash! Time for propaganda is gone! They ain't ashamed that Amaechi left only 7billion naira in a big oil producing state like Rivers with its huge IGR base! Meanwhile states like Anambra left 77 billion for the successor! How can they tell me that Wike will be squandering 2billion naira per day! Haba! Lie with some face abeg! Look at Rumuibekwe road, look at Woji, look at Elelenwo road, Mehn the list goes on! I ask myself, what exactly was Amaechi doing in office with the Rivers fund! He's simply heartless and wicked!!!
