21 killed in Boko Haram attack on Borno village

No fewer than 21 persons have been left dead in a new attack by suspected Islamists in a village in northeastern Borno state, residents said Saturday.

“The terrorists stormed Maikadiri around 9:00 am (0800 GMT Friday) and opened fire on helpless citizens,” said resident Simon Templer.

“We counted 21 corpses,” said another resident, Markus Ali. A police officer in the Borno state capital Maiduguri confirmed the attack.

    This is getting old. (yawn). Arm the villagers (including the women). Otherwise, this is going to happen over and over and over. If you don't mind burying the dead as a new hobby, just keep doing the same thing. After awhile, wailing and covering your faces with towels will stop bringing sympathy... Rip to the dead!
