I just got this info from a blog reader who says at about 7:30pm
today 11 June ,a private jet N497AG crash landed on the run way at omagwa international airport,Port Harcourt
damaging its front tire.
Thankfully,no casualties were recorded but the crash has grounded all local flights, and the two international flights (Lufthanza int and AirFrance) which were ready for take off has been delayed with passengers stranded inside the aircrafts.
He also says flights set to land have been re-routed to the nearest airports.

Although all emergency response team are on ground, with high ranking FAAN officials also on ground, its taking ages still before they could get the jet off the run way. I wonder what would have happened if were to larger aircraft like Boeing 747.?
Madam there procedures to move such, it is not a danfo you just move. The only bad thing is that they have just one run way. Don't run Nigeria down cameroun is not better!!!!
