Mohammed made the statement Thursday in Abuja after an emergency meeting of the National Working Committee of the party and some senators.
"The party has not changed its position on the matter. Sanctions must follow due process,"On the senators who were at the Secretariat,he said
"They came to confer with the party leadership, that's all I am allowed to say. They are our senators; they came to confer on the crisis in the National Assembly. We will let you know the way forward," .When asked why Saraki was absent at the meeting, Mohammed said:
"I am not aware, probably if you wait you will see him."He said APC was not aware that the Lawan group had gone to court.
"I think the party made its expression clear on the matter, that it is unhappy with the outcome of the election and I think we won't say anything beyond that.
"What the senators will do is within the capability and rights of the senators. I am not aware they have gone to court,'' he said.
Apc shld leav him alone joor,it's too early fr all dis
ReplyDeleteToo early ma dear
DeleteWhat are they waiting for? Selfish people
ReplyDeleteNo matter what you must not disobey party directives. That will bring room for mockery, rebellious character.
ReplyDeleteConfused party =APC. #watching
ReplyDeleteYou guys are missing the point. Lair Mohammed is the problem here. I saw the message that was sent to schedule the APC meeting at ICC and that message was signed by him. He doesn't want to take responsibility for the stupidity in scheduling a meeting at the same time as a very important national duty.
ReplyDeletethe question is simple, why weren't the APC senators present? Imagine the party calling a meeting with the president on the morning of a G-7 meeting and he shuns G-7. that would be the end of him.
another issue is that APC and their change slogan isn't really working cos unlike PDP who this happened to under Jonathan, APC cannot deal with the will of a majority to make a decision. this is also very bad.
lastly, oga Thiefnubu is the exact reason this is happening and you have to question his motives. what sort of senate president does he want, one that can do his dirty work for him. can we afford this?
My guess is No.
These guys should stop wasting precious time unnecessary.
ReplyDeleteElections has been held, winners has emerged and sworn into office.
Accept it and move on, afterall somebody else accepted defeat for your party to even come into power.
You can't win all the time!
Mumu People... IT IS WELL
