All sins are not equal-Ali Baba

Here is what ace comedian and motivational speaker Ali Baba had to say about different types of sin.According to him, contrary to statements that a 'sin is a sin' nor matter what form it takes, he feels all sins are not the same. In response to the quote above, he wrote
"Not really. If I lied that I didn't have money to borrow you, because I have need for the money or know you will not pay me back the money... It could count as sin because God says let your yes be yes and your no no. So I can't shout when 20billion is missing? Haba na!!!! Or let's say a lady and a guy tried to but count not help themselves (circumstances beyond control or one thing led to another, as they say) does that mean if I see a rapist I can't say "look at that monster!"? Abegi!!!! Or because i don't pay tithe I can't say "a terrorist who killed over 3000 people should be killed?"... Sin get degree oooo..."

    Ali baba I know where you coming from.. As a Catholic, we were taught about "big sin" and small sin.. but Charlie.... The Bible never made a special sin after all.. Forget what you were taught and read the scripture.

      Amy Geroge, Ali Baba is 100% right and its Biblical too. The Bible says that "Wages of Sin is Death (Hell)" And in 1 John 5:16-18 the Bible states that all Unrighteousness are sin but there are sin unto death (hell) and there sin not unto death (hell) and the Bible went ahead and said I did not say you should pray for that. (That is indulge in it) So my dear its not a Catholic doctrine ok. 1 Example. If your neighbour ran into your house and hide under your bed and 2 armed men supoosely assasins, follow in and asked you did anyone ran into your house and you said no, and they left. Amy Geroge what have you done? You saved a soul and you lied. So will that sin take you to hell? Read the verse I quoted. Its not a Catholic doctrine.

    With man sins have level of degrees; they are relatively different. However, what appears to man somewhat, it's not so with God. In a way seemingly ridiculous a sin as little as a muster seed will be meted with same punishment in the sight of God. Sin is sin. Bad is bad.

    It is really bad to judge other. Do not judge whether you are without blemish or not, do not judge.
