Notorious robber arrested after gang mate accidentally shoots his leg during operation(Photo)

One of Nigeria's most wanted robbers,Afam Omoba alias Obosi, was arrested after he was allegedly shot by a member of his own gang during an operation  in Enugu.

According to the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Ebere Amaraizu, Obosi who has evaded the police for several years, was robbing a residence with  his cohort when a young man in the house resisted the hoodlums and tried to fight back. In the ensuing confusion,his cohort tried to shoot the the young man but missed the target and instead he shot Omoba in the leg.

The sound of the gun shoot attracted the attention of the people in the neighbourhood and they decided to flee .The police had been informed and gave the suspects a hot chase.

The policemen combed the bush towards the direction the hoodlums ran to and eventually arrested Omoba who could not run far because of his injury.
