Igbo groups drag Oba of Lagos to Human Rights Commission

The Oba of Lagos has been dragged to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) by Igbo groups..Ohanaeze-Ndigbo Lagos and Igbo Justice Congress in petition to the Executive Secretary of NHRC, Prof. Bem Angwe, called for the intervention of the Commission to forestal the threat by Oba Akiolu.
According to the petition by Innocent Arinze for Ohaneze Ndigbo and Arinze Ugwu for Igbo Justice Congress, said
“The entire Igbo in Lagos State seeks your intervention to forestall the threat by HRM Oba Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos to drown all Ndigbo in Lagos State inside the Lagoon if they failed to vote his candidate, Ambode of the APC Lagos.

      Statement that can spark up war is "story" and needs to "end"?? Especially when d accused did not and prolly will not apologize or even utter a word ? I bow for my people o & they called it #Change....GEJ has been cheated ..everything is becoming partial..the APC has been able to achieve media sympathy ...JIMI AGBAJE will win d Election and hopefully d shock won't make d Oba drown in d Lagoon

    To be honest, until today, the only OBA I knew of was the Oba of Benin. So you lagosians have an Oba? Too bad he is a drunk sha.. Good move Ohaneze Ndigbo... IT IS WELL
