The All Progressives Congress (APC) has denied that its presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, promised to make the naira equal to the dollar.
Director, Policies and Strategy of the APC campaign group, Bolaji Abdullahi, made the clarification on Tuesday at the Nigeria Political Parties Discussion Series (NPPDS) in Abuja.
He said what Buhari said was, the current exchange rate was unacceptable
Director, Policies and Strategy of the APC campaign group, Bolaji Abdullahi, made the clarification on Tuesday at the Nigeria Political Parties Discussion Series (NPPDS) in Abuja.
He said what Buhari said was, the current exchange rate was unacceptable
“Buhari never said, ‘I will bring naira at par with the dollars’, he said the current exchange rate was unacceptable. We are going to restructure the way we educate our youths. We cannot continue to educate our youths in the way of the 1960s,”he said

Of cos we dnt expect u to but atleast stabilize it so d difference wunt b much.

ReplyDeleteAnti-APC ,do you think Buhari wil lie go and ask about War against indiscipline .... Buhari is a man of his word -PST.Chekeleke
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteFYI,war against indispline was a human right abused.During buhari's war against indiscipline era, nigerians were beaten by security operatives for minor offences. He jailed prominent nigerians without trial. So dont come and preach wai here.
DeleteSunnyotun let be constructive in our argument ,you keep finding fault in Buhari, when last did you see Nigerians stand on queue, when last did you see a Nigerian destroying government properties and go free..It was only in GEJ era that dollars bloated up the naria currency..The reason why Nigerians were beaten was it for the wrong or right reason...I know you personally don't like the man Buhari but allow him to start work then I will see to your argument as a fact or baseless -PST.Chekeleke

DeleteI am not commenting about his personality.I am stating his past policies and ideology that were detrimental to nigerians. You can see that bokoharam has reduced their brutality ever since he won.
DeleteThe last comment of this Giwa shows that he's either a child or he's a complete daft! This social blogs has shown the vacousness innate in people like him. You don't need to be an economist to understand the underlying factors that affects the pendulum of dollar fluctuations in the international market! Giwa typifies what the yorubas call a complete "Ode"! Buhari that was promising to make a naira equall to a dollar is equally in his domain! No doubt, Buhari may have some integrity, and they may be all he needs to reposition Nigeria, but it's not questionable that he's as dumb as this Giwa on this blog. Giwa should seek the knowledge of an enlightened economist that will put him through on international political economics. We may have been ambivalent on Giwa's intelligent or otherwise, but each time he pens something down on this blog, he erases all doubts and affirms to us that he really is a dunce. He'd better shut up so that we keep imagining on what side of the spectrum he is.
DeleteAnon your shindy are just too baseless. From my deduction you just acquired a new degree, to attest the extend of your knowlege you decided to pour out your jargons on me. You have proven to me, your high level of mawkish behavior. I am a strong believer in the principles of change and your econometrics on naria to dollar ratio doesn't hold water.I think you were inebriated when you wrote this so-called epistles about me so I have pardoned you considering your state of mind. To err is human ; to forgive , divine .So go and sin no more. -PST.Chekeleke
DeleteI already knew this man was lying from day one.Is it only magicians that make promises? He will soon say that he never said he would fight" kuarufsion"
ReplyDeleteLol ....@Sunnyotun...Buhari will definitely surprise a doubting Thomas like you -PST.Chekeleke
