Some women belonging to the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State were reportedly teargased this morning by policemen around the INEC headquarters on Aba Road after they tried to take their grieviances over Saturday’s presidential elections in the state to the Commission’s office.
The women, donning black attires and led by House of Representatives candidate for Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Maureen Tamuno, came in several buses from various parts of the state as early as 8:30am to pour out their frustrations.
They are asking for cancellation of the elections held on Saturday..
