The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has reacted to allegations by the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, that the PDP had bribed some pastors with N6bn to speak against the APC...The renowned pastor took to his official facebook page to warn them against incuring the wrath of God
“I read in the newspaper this morning that one of the serving governors in Nigeria said that some pastors in Nigeria collected N6bn from politicians for the purpose of influencing their members to vote a certain candidate in the coming elections.
“May I humbly request that if there be any pastor or pastors who collected such money, they should please return such as quickly as possible before the fire of the Almighty consumes you.”

ReplyDeleteYesterday my mom who is the leader of the women organization in our parish, was called around 8am just as she was getting to her office by the overall leader of the women organization in the region of the diocese, that there will b an emergency meeting of women leaders of all the parishes in the region. She couldn't go bcos of her job....& later in the evening those who attended the meeting told her that some group of politicians came to seek their support. & I'm sure they doled out cash stolen from our national treasury...n the priests n other decision makers of the church must have gotten some big brown envelopes before directing them to meet women leaders of the church.
Yes....the church has been compromised. Pastors, Imams, Reverend Fathers & Sisters, Bishops, etc are all receiving bribes from politicians. What I know for sure is that God will judge every man according to his works. They r the Judas Iscariots of our time. God is watching...that I'm sure of.

Adeboye should as well mind his business. Who knows if those claims are true by Amaechi ?? Or coz he wasn't given his own share??? People that call themselves "Men of God" distance themselves from politics and money. They should all take a cue from TB JOSHUA..!!!

DeleteAnon, normally I wouldn't do this but let me give you a little attention.. First of all what promoted his speech?? That's a first, secondly why would he preach on hearsay ? What's his business? Church and politics have got nothing in common if only you know your bible. Yes I mentioned TB Joshua coz he preaches the word of God and never associates himself with politics, when was the last time you heard or see him preach about election ? The most he can do or say is pray for Nigeria. Now am sure your brains if only they can recollect enough will agree or rather revert back to the status quo and you will see reasons not to type coz you probably want to stalk my comment.
