Kunle Afolayan says October 1 is Nigeria's Highest grossing box office movie

Kunle Afolayan has said his latest film, October 1 has done far better than any other film ever put on DStv’s box office in Nigeria. Speaking to NET he said.......
‘I don’t have the figures yet, but someone told me recently that it has done better than all the films they have ever put on box office – both local and foreign. ‘In terms of figures, I don’t know how much that has translated to, but that’s what I’ve been told.’
 However,according to reports, Ayo Makun’s 30 Days in Atlanta is the highest grossing movie and reportedly grossed N76m in just seven weeks at the cinemas. Kunle’s October 1 currently stands at Number 4 on the log of highest grossing Nollywood movies of all time....

    Kunle is one film maker I doff my hat for. He is very creative and knows what film production entails. No doubt October 1 will be one of the highest grossing film in Nigeria.
