Selena Gomez slammed for displaying her Ankles during visit to Abu Dhabi mosque

 Selena Gomez has sparked anger after posting pictures of herself flunting her ankle inside Abu Dhabi's Grand Mosque on her Instragram account.
A second picture, showing Gomez and fellow musicians Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Cody Simpson and Shay Mitchell smiling and striking poses has also been lambasted.
Mosque visiting rules strictly ban all 'intimate behaviour' including holding hands and kissing, and states that all skirts must be ankle-length.

Commenting on the picture, Alaa Almitwally said:
 'Disrecpectful! It's a religion place not a place to have fun in, so disappointed.'
Meanwhile another user, Ayisha Elturk, said:
'If their intent was to learn about Islam they wouldn't be posing like they were standing outside and amusement park.I like Selena Gomez but to have her do something like this makes me no longer a fan.'
She has since deleted the images

      Yes, Holy land not funeral ground, why would such solemn behaviours be expected? Did someone die? If anything you should be happy and joyful in the presence of your God not sober and unhappy. Yet u wonder why boko haram are monsters.... Charity begins in a day.... These are normal happy and morally acceptable pictures... The only crime they have committed to the Muslim mind is being happy

      @olusoji it's not a funeral ground either, Islam teaches their followers to be unhappy.. That's why harmless happy pictures are hurting u ppl so badly... Smh.. Yet u Muslims wonder why ppl attribute terrorism to the religion, when ryt from a young age the average Muslim is thought to be unhappy.... If the pic was taken in a church, would it cause an uproar? Please....

    I am a Christian but I think what she did was disrespectful and was done deliberately . She must have known the rules before setting foot there. I believe rules are rules, and must be followed.
