Queen Ure gets court injunction banning Cynthia Morgan from using "Popori"song(Photo)

Queen Ure has sought an injunction from the federal high court, banning the airing of Cynthia Morgan's track "Popori"
On 29th of December, 2014,a  Federal high court in Lagos gave an injunction restraining Cynthia Morgan, Radio Dj’s, Tv Stations, promoters from using the word Popori which is an infringement on Queen Ure’s copyright.

This is because,while Cynthia dropped her track in November 2014, Queen Ure’s first video,released in November, 2012 was titled Popori  as well as her 15 track album Popori as well.
Cynthia morgan replied saying
  "And some lady named "Ure" sending me a court order for using the word "Popori"lol.. I'm still tryna find out who you are coz google aint got nothing on you"

    This Is Funny!!! Queen URE You Are Not The Originator Of The Word Popori, at times I wonder what's going on in the minds of these so celebs seF.       Stelch I'm surprised at your comment Queen Ure made Popori known in 2012 just as Muma Gee made skilashi or whatever known. They may not have invented the words but they made it popular and have copy rights to it. So let Cynthia be American brought up and Nigerian Full Buttered that does not exempt her from copy rights infringement.

      The word popori was not invented by URE and she has not been any where as popular as Morgan. Msny songs nowadays hsve cossover titles . Jodie's kuchi kuchi was far more popular and original(jodie probably invented the word) and yet Morgan released her own popular kuchi kuchi without much ado .
      Ure is probably riding on the back of Morgan's popularity to make people curious enuf to buy her old album !

      Shoki is a dance style and anybody could come up with a song shoki. Popori is a song title and album name which implies that Ure has the copy right to that name.
