Today, Buhari's running mate will be named and there are strong indications it won't be governor Fashola of Lagos who many feel is worthy of being in that post. Banky W took to twitter to air his dissapointment over religion being used as a criteria for political selection... He says it should be Fashola and no one else

Religion plays a major role in the affairs of nigeria.If you check the way governorship aspirants are handpick by godfathers,esp in lagos,muslims are always the gov while christain is deputy.So christain are looked down on.

Oga Banky.. your vote is just one, though we all want fashola irrespective of his religion and we also don't want religion to be a determinant of who becomes our leader but the truth is that those who can't reason behind these issues are more than those of us who think they shouldn't matter. So these people should always be taken into the same political calculation because no matter how educated and unreligious were are we have equal vote with an illiterate .
