Nigerian Man jailed in Ghana for impersonating Majid Michel(Photo)

A Nigerian man had been jailed in Ghana for 10 months with hard labour  .Kelvin Ogodogu who is based in Ghana was  arrested for defrauding a fan of actor Majid Michel.

Mr Ogodogu was nabbed on the 15th of November, 2014 when he told a woman on Facebook that he’s Majid Michel. He later solicited for funds from the US-based Nigerian woman identified as Ikay to bury his late mother.

Unfortunately for him, when the real Majid  met the lady in US during his last visit ,she asked him why he was requesting for money from her. They played along with the imposter till he was nabbed..
Kelvin was arraigned on Thursday before a Magistrates Court in Teshie, Ghana where he was sentenced to 10 months with hard labour .

  8. The reason nigerians takes to crime in foreign land is because of lack of getting good job.Their intention is to work. When they search fruitlessly for jobs they have no option than to become scammers or armedrobbers.Again, nigerians are always discriminated abroad. Our politicians are making matters worst for her citizenry.

  17. some of you opening your gutter-mouth to abuse these scammers check yourself and thank God for your life but don't cast blames. You don't know people's stories.... If a graduate with a first class degree cannot get a good job, then there is an error somewhere. Even the bible says its only a fool that sits down and eats its own flesh. People dey hungry for Nigeria and yet our government aren't doing anything about it. Blame the government and not the youths

    1. So bc they can't find job, it's nw justifiable to scam ppl? Everybody must not hv a white collar job. There r little ways one can earn a living but lazy ppl like him prefer the easy way.
