The police in Lagos State have begun investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death of a mother of three children, who was murdered on Monday and her body mutilated
The victim, identified as Martha Ifewulu, was on Monday afternoon, murdered by yet-to-be identified assailant at her residence, 45 Salau Aliu Street, Oke Afa, Isolo area of the state.
According to Nigerian Tribune,it was gathered that the deceased had earlier in the day taken her three children to school, she returned home and was said to be resting, when the assailant crept in and killed her.
Nigerian Tribune gathered that there were signs of violence between the woman and her killers as there were blood stains on the staircase of the three storey building
The children had reportedly returned home from school and were ascending the staircase , when the eldest among them, Ada raised the alarm , which attracted the neighbours.
Residents of the area were discussing that the woman was planning to go to the Trade Fair Complex to stock her shop for the Christmas and New Year celebration when she met her untimely death
“When I saw people, mostly women, gathered outside, shouting blood, and also crying, that was how I came downstairs and went straight into the compound only for me to see blood on the ground, “Immediately I and some other youths who were at home at that particular time saw what is happening, we took the children away from the house and kept them with some residents in the area, until their father was called on the phone and briefed about the development.’’
Oh God! Its that time of the season again when people just die mysteriously. I just shudder each time I try to imagine what those kids saw..chai

ReplyDeleteNigerians should know the importantance of Surveillance Camera. The IGP from 1st to last to state government to federal have been bunch of none skull. Very stupid and thoughtless leaders. How can a three storey building be existing without any form of surveillance? If not Surveillance how would have TB Joshua redirected his case? Nigerians Think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thinking is free Think!! Bomblast at busstation no survelliance, bomblast in school no surveillance, how can this possibly be going wrong. Not even in lots of hotels, God damn it!! This country are just committing suicide by failing to provide security for themselves. Wait for GEJ!! waitttttttttttttttt!!!! How much does Surveillance Cameras cost? How much?????????????????????????????????????

The one that pains me most is that the police authority will say they are on the trail of the perpetrator whereas they are at their roadblock collecting egunje.
