Touching Stories of Unemployed Nigerian Graduates

I promised  to post mails from those who need jobs..It's taken me a while to painstakenly compile them as many didn't label it with "Jobs" so many mails got lost in my mailbox. If I missed your, will still search and post..
Please , these lovely people are not asking for funds, they just need jobs..Really a sad situation. So,I've shared their mails and hope some genuine employers out there would be touched..

Please, do NOT fall for scam mails. There are still those who would try to take advantage of your situation to rip you off..Be very certain of where you go for interviews and pay NO FEE...God bless you all and open doors
  • I am a B.sc Banking and Finance graduate currently resident in Lagos State. I completed my NYSC programme in February 2014 and the hunt for job kicked off immediately. My parents don't know high net-worth individuals who can fix me up in good organizations hence my sole rely on the internet. I have sent out tons of applications, applied for numerous too, but no hope. So i thought to myself once, since i am a fresh graduate without working experience, it will be better to take up 1 of these poor job offers, even though i will gain the working experience i don't have. I took up one of the offer and i truly have garnered experience but i go through hell as i practically spend almost all my salary on transportation to and fro..I am 24 years old, computer proficient, smart and presentable, a fast learner who adapts quickly to changes with good communication skills. I also have close to 1 year working experience. I will love for anyone who can help me with a job, be it a male or female, to contact me on teefunmi@gmail.com.

I saw your post about jobs and I'm hoping you could help me.The semester is very short and difficult for me and I'm hoping you could help me do something for myself. When people see the internet as a dangerous place, they forget that true people, who don't even need to see you before lending a hand exist. Your blog is 101% real and i absolutely love it. I find solace in it despite my current condition.

Looking for job is not an easy task in Nigeria, infact looking for job is an institution of its own which one needs to graduate from.

  16. Chaaaiiii! No tears from me at all, Um just ANGRY! See provocation! What do I tell you? It is not only in Nigeria, it is the same in my country, believe me! To have a job is just the grace of God...

I can only advise that all of you and every other person in this blog to continue in prayers, do not get tired, for it is written "the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much". God will surely send a helper, and you will get the desired jobs!

While waiting for a helper, try and keep yourself busy with some other things, you can start a small business and who knows, you might end up being an employer rather than an employee. Start as little as you can, all the big business man did not just become big, they started somewhere. We don't have to all think inside the box of "i must be employed", create another box with the mindset "i must be the one giving out jobs to others".

Oh yes I know it’s not easy but you just have to try!

Please, do not get tired! Your jobs are coming! I am waiting for testimonies from all of you....

Emeh, thank you for all that you are doing! God is watching you and his hand rests mightily upon you! Please help us with a post for “work at home business ideas, …..”

  17. This Is The Tale Of Over 80% Of Youths In The Country Right.. Be It Skilled Or Unskilled. The Current Government is Not Helping Matters And Most Of This Same Youth Begging For Job Will Still Hear Them Say Words Like ''I Will Vote For Goodluck All Over Again'' Please 2015 Is Here We Can decide to Do That Which Is The Best For Ourself! And Also Let's ALL Look Into The Area Of SME, Atleast by Starting Something For Ourself.. While In School I Guess Some Of Us Involve In One Petty Job or The Other You Can Look Into It Once More... I Started Managing a blog in 2009 and After My NYSC In 2012 I Was In Deep Pain Like Most Of You Guy. So I Look Inward And Decided To RUN mY oWN sITE/Blog www.jaychoc.tv And Now I'm Getting Something Off It.. And I Pray It Gets Bigger. Let's Keep Hoping And Better Still Start Something Today. 21. Wow.... Some people's stories are just too pathetic.. Almost got a nigga to shed tears.
Then some people really need to change the way they write... For example, you can't use "shud" in place of "should", "am" in place of "i,'m" or "gud" in place of "good" and so many others I noticed in some of these mails.... These are the things that disaualify people a lot.. I know some did it out of desperation, while some are used to writing in that manner.. But you have to act like a roman when you're in rome, no matter what you might be going through.
I really do hope these guys get something soonest... It is such a pity the sad and harsh realities we are faced with in this country.
But if you decide to take advantage of this golden opportunity that Emeh has provided, God will punish you the more....
Guys please, even though you've sent your details here or there, never you give up, keep searching, keep surfing, keep believing in in what you're made of, keep keeping on..... Your story will change soon, and you'll testify there after, in Jesus' name... Amen !!!!!!
    Cheers

Some people may never get the kinda jobs they deserve because their CVs are very disorganized and a total mess. Kindly construct your sentences correctly and run a spell check please.
