South African Football Captain Senzo Meyiwa Shot Dead At Girlfriend's House

South Africa football captain Senzo Meyiwa was  shot dead in Johannesburg only hours after playing a match(above). According to a statement by police ,the 27 year old , who played for Orlando Pirates, was shot dead when intruders entered his girlfriend's house in Vosloorus, a town 20 miles south of Johannesburg.

According to the South African Police Service who are offering R150,000($14,000) for any information leading to the arrest of the culprits,

""there were 7 people inside the house. Two suspects went into the house, one remained outside. The 3 fled on foot after the shooting.”

Meyiwa who is married was said to have recently rekindled his relationship with his girlfriend who has a child for him.....
The Genesis of their relationship started when he lied to her that he was single . She found out 5 months into the relationship and his wife also found out when she stumbled on the pop star's
instagram account.

He confessed to Drum Magazine that he lied to her, but in February this year, he returned home to his wife. Many didn't know he was back with his girlfriend till this shooting at her house, which took his life..
