Lagos to give N50m to First Consultant Medical Centre, Ebola Survivors

As Nigeria has been officially declared Ebola-free, the Lagos state government has revealed plans to present N50 million to First Consultant Medical Centre, Obalende, where the Index case,Mr Patrick Sawyer died .They also lost their chief  consultant, Dr. Adadevoh and nurse Justina.

The state Government will also give an undisclosed amount to other Ebola causalities and survivors, to help them get back on their feet
The state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris, disclosed this at a joint media conference in Alausa, Ikeja
“Support to affected persons including those alive and N50 million lump sum as business support gesture to First Consultant Medical Centre.This is with view to getting people, businesses back on their feet and for businesses to re-secure patronage of their customers.”

  3. 9c one there, Lagos state govt doin a gr8 job. But they suld make a remarkable day for this people who risked their lives atleast a public holiday is owk. U knw we Nigerians luv public holiday, so if dey give one it won't be a bad idea.

  10. BLOG ANALYSER: A kind gesture! From Gov Fash. Very commendable So, today I heard a gist. Someone saw a child crying on a street in Lagos in the evening and he was with an address pointing to a direction and a good samarittan decided to help him by taking him to the adress on the paper. When they got there, he was beaten and stripped of all his belongings. So guyz pls be careful this ember month.
