DeleteI watched the show. It's songs from 2005 which us when MTV base started. And 2face African queen was the first song played on MTV base so that's why it's the only song recorded before 2005

ReplyDeleteMusic is not just about entertainment. There are songs that are good, songs with strong lyrics, songs that stand the test of time like African Queen by Tuface, Jailer by ASA and there are songs that can be classified in the 'Sweet' category like surulere, Gongo Aso, Skelewu... while some songs are just not good enough. There are also songs with strong message like Jaga jaga and African China's song but I rather have African China's song on the list than jagajaga. Yahoozee and Nwa baby were hit songs but are they 'Great songs'? Eedris coolu temper *in J Martin's voice*
