  5. The guy vex big time. Well to my own understanding I think MTV base compiled a list of their own top 20. If someone other persons compiles theirs, bet me, some of these songs won't be included. We know there was big omission big time ..!!

  6. This list is not complete without Fela songs on it, even Iyanya is bittered bcus Kukere did not make the list but come to think of it will they be given money if they make they list? my advice to them is continue giving their fans good music and forget about MTV base

  9. I watched the show. It's songs from 2005 which us when MTV base started. And 2face African queen was the first song played on MTV base so that's why it's the only song recorded before 2005

  20. Music is not just about entertainment. There are songs that are good, songs with strong lyrics, songs that stand the test of time like African Queen by Tuface, Jailer by ASA and there are songs that can be classified in the 'Sweet' category like surulere, Gongo Aso, Skelewu... while some songs are just not good enough. There are also songs with strong message like Jaga jaga and African China's song but I rather have African China's song on the list than jagajaga. Yahoozee and Nwa baby were hit songs but are they 'Great songs'? Eedris coolu temper *in J Martin's voice*
