The Founder and General Overseer of The Synagogue Church of All Nations, Temitope Joshua, has linked the collapse of an uncompleted Guest House owned by his church to a “strange aircraft” which he said hovered around the building before its collapse. Mr. Joshua said the plane hovered around the collapsed building for over 30 minutes. The clergyman spoke just as emergency officials told this newspaper that 17 people died in the incident while 123 others were evacuated alive and rushed to hospital.
Briefing journalists, including a Premium Times reporter, on the incident on Saturday, the pastor played a CCTV footage of a flying aircraft to back his claim.
In the footage, a plane was seen flying over the collapsed guest house at four different times on Friday morning — 11: 30 a.m, 11: 43 a.m, 11:45 a.m and 11: 54 a.m. The building collapsed at 12:44 p.m Friday afternoon. PREMIUM TIMES was unable to authenticate the footage, and it remains unclear whether there is indeed a relationship between the flying aircraft and the collapse of the building.
But in his speech, Mr. Joshua insisted the aircraft, which flew past almost an hour before the incident, was responsible for the collapse of the building. The pastor said he was the target of the attack.
“Immediately I left the prayer room (which is a 10-minute drive form the church) for the church, I got a call that a jet was hovering over the prayer room but as I finished bathing and moved to the prayer room, I got another call that the jet has moved to the church and that was it,“Members cannot be the target, the easier way to stop this church is to get the head and from my explanation, you know the truth,”Mr. Joshua called on security agents to study the CCTV footage as they investigate the incident. He promised to speak further on the incident during service on Sunday.
“Service will hold tomorrow and I will state my position tomorrow in service, you can watch it live on Emmanuel TV,”He also apologised to the press following the hostile treatment of journalists by members of his church. “We are very sorry on their behalf,” he said.
“Our members are not hostile. The Bible is our standard. Even the Bible today, without the press, it cannot be accessible to many. Our members have respect for the press. When we fight the press, we are fighting Emmanuel TV. They value you people.”

ReplyDeleteIts not the time to say whether Tb Joshua is fake or not. I read so many comments online and I was just laughing... some said Tb Joshua used them for rituals and I just wonder if some of these people are actually educated.
We have to strongly condemn in totality the celebration of calamity that befalls a fellow human being whether you like them or not. There are some pastors I do not like, famous pastors... YES, your pastor, I don't like him lol but I will never wish him bad or rejoice when something similiar happens. I wasn't taught that.
I am less concerned about non-Christians saying whatever they like but the Christians who say the same? That he is a man of God do not exempt him from any mishaps, accidents or occurence like this one because just like you and I.....he is a mortal. HE IS NOT GOD.... You should have as well asked Jesus which you now claim as your saviour today that why didnt he save himself if you were alive back then. Where are our morals, our sense of reasoning, where is our conscience.......didnt your Bible tell you to mourn with those who mourn and rejoice with those that are rejoicing?
You dont tell God what to do and how to do it..and for those of you who are Christian who are now asking this man asking questions such as "why didnt he see it coming, why didnt he predict it" you are not different than the pharesies who asked Jesus to play the prophet, you are not different from the thief who told Him on the cross if you are the Son of God save your self and save us. You have allowed your selves tools in the hands of the devil so that through you gentiles, the uncircumcised may make mokery of the name of our God. in 1st King 22, God didn't reveal to about Four hundred proohets the distruction of King Ahab for a reason even though Prophet Micaiah had the privilege to access heaven at some point. the ways of God are different from the ways of men. in Romans 8:28 Bible says " And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them" For those of you Christians who take pleasure in wagging your mouth and speaking evil against men of God I pray for you that you realise soon enough the curse you are bringing upon your selves.
Instead of sympathizing with the church or praying for the quick rocovery of the wounded some of you are busy shamelessly debating about true and false prophet, and true and fake men and women of God.
If God begins to reveal everything concerning Tb Joshua to Prophet Tb Joshua, then God is not God, because God is the only one that can leave perfectly without anything happening to HIM and not Man. Job was wealthy but God allowed the devil to do his wish to test Job's faith.
What fails to kill us makes us stronger and we should not forget that every good thing attracts evil. As Christians, we should not forget the mandate to be our brother's keeper. When we celebrate the misfortune of others, we are inviting destruction unto ourselves. Therefore let love lead.
Don't bother to ask, I am a SCOAN member.. I am not saying this because he is my pastor, I would have said same corncerning anyother pastor. We should use our mouth to build and not destroy. Our mouth should be used to #SpeakLife and not condemnation. Christians fighting other Christians because something like this didnt happen in their church. It could have happened in your church. YOUR PASTOR DO NOT HAVE EXTRA POWER TO STOP SOMETHING THAT IS DESTINED TO HAPPEN. ReplyDeleteI feel bad about the tragedy of the collapsed building. God knows the cause and will punish the culprits. However, we can not liken what happened to the case of Jesus' death. Jesus knew about his death, he was expecting it. He even told people about it in parables. May the souls of the deceased rest in piece.

I wonder y people are in a state of denial, how can you add a four Storey to a building that is two Storey, isn't the foundation different. The foundation of the building is meant to accommodate a two Storey. He even allowed people to be in there while construction is going on and he is now blaming it on a mysterious aircraft.
