A 25-year-old mother was locked in a bathroom for three years and banned from seeing her child because she gave birth to a girl.
The Indian woman found with overgrown nails and torn clothes could not open her eyes in the sunlight.And she wept inconsolably when her daughter did not recognise her.
According to the International Business Times,Chief officer Seema Kumari said:
'The woman could barely open her eyes in the sunlight, as she had survived in darkness and dim light, closeted in the small space. 'The woman revealed that she was thrown into the bathroom and locked there.She was not allowed to see her child, and given leftover food irregularly. It was as if her in-laws were seeking revenge for not bringing ample dowry and for giving birth to a girl child.'Police officials said that the victim was married to Prabhat Kumar Singh in 2010 but soon after the wedding, she was allegedly repeatedly tortured by her husband and in-laws and told to bring in more dowry.When the dowry demands were unmet and she gave birth to a baby girl, she was locked up.
"She was never allowed to go meet her parents. When her relatives visited Darbhanga to meet her, they were dissuaded or shooed away.
"She was also barred from interacting with anybody from outside. She immediately asked for her three-year-old daughter and wept inconsolably when the child could not recognize her,"
The victim was eventually rescued by police after her father Shyam Sundar Singh filed a complaint at the Darbhanga police station.
No man has power to control woman about what u will give or not coz u are not God that gives children. Haba this is sabotage on the high side for crying out loud.for good 3yrs without no offense, may God deliver us from evil pple in the name of husband or wife or even inlaw self.

ReplyDeleteThe only thing marketable in India is their movies and their fine girls. Gang-raping is an everyday thing there. Women are treated better in Sambisa forest than in some places in India. They are so dubious and diabolic. We used to have them as tenants then. If mosquito bite them, immediately them go call me, but to pay service charge and rent na them go dey give excuse . The funny thing is that it's our Nigerian companies that employ them who pay for their accommodation and stuffs . They are living like kings here in Nigeria. They employ them for things our Nigerians could easily do.
