The husband and children of the Nigerian nurse who died after getting infected with the Ebola virus are on the run. Business day reports that, this was confirmed by Nigerian  health officials .
If you recall, she is the first Nigerian to die from the virus after contacting it from Liberian,Patrick Sawyer.Meanwhile,  the Minister of Health said 139 people are under surveillance with 9 confirmed cases.
“The total number of cases, as of this morning, (Friday) stands at nine out of which eight are Nigerians and one American-Liberian.Out of the nine confirmed cases, seven are alive and are receiving treatment In Lagos.“I am saying this to enlighten people that having Ebola does not mean you have been condemned to death, survivors have been recorded.

  2. Federal Government should as a matter of national urgency release
the name or names of those infected so others would be aware. Now
you keep hiding these people and their names you are contributing to
its quick spread! The public is suppose to know so all those concerned
would be smoked out and quarantined no matter were they run to.
God forbid if their destination is the remote villages!

  10. The Nigerian doctors are causing confusion abeg, they say you can get infected unless someone get critically ill and starts showing symptoms and the nurse and doctors were quarantine immediately after the sawyer incidence and they were isolated so I don't know how their family will be affected. The people infected are mainly those in the hospital that came in contact with the stupid sawyer man. He just put the whole nation into disarray.

    1. The news about isolation was a lie, age as well as others were left to go home. Nigeria may be counting of hundreds of contaminated issues soon if care is not taken. Is this along politics? May God save us.

    2. How do you know they were left to go home. Even if they are left to go home they didn't state showing symptoms at home, and you don't contact it unless the person become critically ill.

    4. If they were not left to go home, how come she died at her home and why are they looking for the family members now? Clarifying this will safe a lot of tension.

  12. I don't even know what to believe again. The duration between when the nurse treated Sawyer and when she died was so short .

    1. Maybe she died of heart attack because it took him 18 days to die after his sister infected him. But the nurse died like 4 days after. So maybe when she found out,the thought of it killed her
