In what is being considered creepy by some, the former first lady of the Philippines Imelda Marcos marked her 85th birthday today by visiting the body of her husband, former president Ferdinand Marcos in Ilocos Norte. She kissed the glass coffin where his body lays unburied since his death in 1989 and has lay in a temperature-controlled mausoleum since 1993.
She also said her birthday wish would be for her husband to receive a hero's burial, a wish which has continually been rejected by the country's government

ReplyDeleteAfter over 25 years? Wow... That love o.... I guess he will finally be buried when She is dead. No one really knows the connection between the Living and The Dead but there is always a string attached. Not blaming her at all.

ReplyDeleteMy grand father died 20yrs ago and he's still in mausoleum in the State he's wish was to be buried when he's first grandson is 21. His buria is on the 2nd of Aug 2014 the exact day my little brother would be 21. So I can relate with this post I wish the Governent of Philippines grant her her wish so the man can be buried its not an easy thing to leave a dead man unburied for a long time it gulp a lots of money and even peace of mind. Some groups of journalists from Nigeria are persuading my family to allow them do a documentary on my unburied grandpa.
ReplyDeleteThis woman should be flogged severely till she collapses on her husband. They contributed heavily to their people being virtual slaves in Saudi. Greedy Klepto.
ReplyDeleteAnd to that ignorant calling her a dirty woman I don't blame you it's because you lack knowledge about stuffs like this. I kiss my grandpa each time I visit and I'm still gonna kiss him come 29th of this month when we would bring his body to Nigeria for burial. So pls do not comment negatively on topics you're not vast with.
ReplyDeleteMay be you are not vast With what actually happened in that country. That motherfucker and his wife destroy that country and I wish all Nigerian past leader etc Babangida restless ending after death. Bastards, greedy kleptos.
