Baby rescued after mother who didn't know she was pregnant tried to flush it down a toilet (Photos)

A newborn was rescued after its mother gave birth and tried to flush it.The woman who had no idea she was pregnant went to a hospital in China complaining of stomach pains.

According to doctor Gao Yuwen, who was on duty...
"I dashed out, and found people gathered outside a bathroom.A woman was hectically knocking the door, asking the other woman inside to open the door.' She went into the bathroom and locked herself in and in a short time I heard a baby's cries from inside and knocked on the door asking whether she was okay.After failing to persuade the woman to open the door a security guard broke it down. 'I saw a baby was immersed in the toilet pan crying heavily and was still connected to her mom with an umbilical cord.'
Both mother and baby are fine"
Is it possible to be pregnant and not know it ..Many women have gone into labour before realizing it ....

    How can grown women say they do not know its possible to be pregnant and not know? Don't you read or watch shows about it? First off there are many women with irregular periods, some women also bleed during pregnancy though it's not an actual period, some women don't experience any symptoms throughout their pregnancy. It is very possible not to know, google it

    Well is hard to believe u can b pregnant nd not kw.but in rare cases it can. Let's assume d woman has an irregular menses she won't b bothered if her menses ceases for months cos to her is not strange anymore nd let's assume she had d signs nd overlooked it or wasn't observant enough. Let's assume d baby was in a transverse lie dis will prevent d abdomen from d normal bulge everyone kws. And den wen one is pregnant nd d placenta is lying so low close to d cervix it can make one bleed intermittently nd will confuse d woman to think is her period. And den let's assume d baby is small for dates or has intrauterine growth restriction Wc will make d baby smaller Dan normal.Imagine a woman having all des factors or most.so yes it does happen.

    YES IT IS VERY VERY VERYYYYY POSSIBLE, MY AUNT WAS 7MNOTHS GONE AND SHE DIODNT KNW SHE WAS PREGNANT AND SHE WAS SEEING HER PERIOD UP TO THAT POINT, UNTIL SHE FELT SICK AND TOT IT WAS MALARIA, SHE WENT TO THE CLINIC AND THEY TOLD HER SHE WAS PREGNANAT, ALSO THERE IS A TV SHOW ON DSTV(TLC CHANNEL) TITLED I DIDNT KNOW I WAS PREGNANT, U WOULD SEE IT HAPPENS ALOT.

    It is 100% possible but not common. A woman I got talking with when i went to hospital one day told me her experience. She was pregnant and same time menstruating, therefore didn't know she was pregnant. She was feeling sick and was going to hospital but because of her regular period, neither she nor her doctor suspected pregnancy and never bothered to conduct pregnancy test. She was being given drugs for malaria and typhoid fever and in her fourth month, the baby died in d womb.
    Her health conditions became worst until she went to see another doctor who found out she was pregnant and unknown to her carrying a dead baby. That was when proper medication was given to her.
    According to her, she nearly died if not for God. This is someone that already had two children.

    So, it is possible. Because some things were made to function in a particular way doesn't mean it can't happen otherwise.
