Excerpts from Nigerian Tribune
What are your views on nudity?
We were born naked, then we realised that we were naked. In some villages around the world, nudity is normal; in a religious society, nudity of any kind is a sin. So, nudity is a personal preference and sometimes a Godly calling. I believe there’s nothing wrong with nudity. It’s the evil and sinful thoughts that people think that need to be controlled. How far can you go with showing your skin as far as your music is concerned?
My music will take me very far, not showing skin. That can only take you so far.
I wear what I am comfortable in, depending on my surroundings. Fashion is another way of living and expressing art. As a girl with a curvy body, I like to celebrate my blessings while I’m still young enough and in shape enough to do so. That doesn’t mean showing skin.
Whether I’m dressed in a nun’s gown or in a bathing suit, someone will still oppose, and have an evil thought.

SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT!! SCAM ALERT!!!
DeleteMiss Petite...pls carry this news. PTDF is a scam. I was called by PTDF to be trained as a Welder for the Oil & Gas Industry. I sat their aptitude test & passed...then was invited for a 9months training of 3month training for each of the 3 modules. I did the first 3months & have been @ home since May 2012 after d first 3 months training without hearing from PTDF. Now read what d new PTDF boss said after keeping me @ home for 1year & 6months...while expecting him to have a change of heart & call us 500 nigerian youths invited for the training back (the chairman's excuse from www.ptdf.gov.ng). Don't try oversea scholarship program or any other programs of PTDF. They will frustrate u! But read it here:
THE CURRENT FINANCIAL SITUATION OF THE FUND AND
IMPACT ON ITS PROJECTS AND PROGRAMMES
TEXT OF PRESS BRIEFING BY OLUWOLE OLULEYE PhD,
EXECUTIVE SECRETARY PTDF ON CURRENT FINANCIAL
SITUATION OF THE FUND AND IMPACT ON ITS PROJECTS
AND PROGRAMMES
Gentlemen of the Press
Since I assumed duty on May 16, 2013 my priority has
been to ensure that PTDF is properly funded to enable us
meet our most pressing financial obligations. This was
because I met the Agency in a precarious financial situation
with mounting liabilities to contractors and threats of
premature termination of our scholars’ studies due to
delayed remittances of tuition and upkeep allowances.
I am glad to inform you that this situation has greatly
improved as a result of the positive intervention of the
Honourable Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs Diezani-
Alison Madueke who is working tirelessly to ensure the
release of outstanding monies due to the Fund which
accumulated over a three year period.
On our part, we re-directed all available funds towards the
maintenance of our scholars abroad. Today, as I speak to
you, the problems with the students have virtually been
resolved and no scholar, I repeat no PTDF scholar has been
sent back to Nigeria.
I need to emphasize this point in order to clear the air on
some recent publications alleging that PTDF had
temporarily suspended funding of scholarships for students
under its responsibility. This is far from the truth as we
have managed to keep the students in school. Our
students should not be distracted by the publication.
Let me assure you that based on the actions taken so far
by the Hon. Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs Diezani-
Alison Madueke to get us funded, there is a clear indication
that the Federal Government is committed to fulfilling all its
obligations to PTDF, particularly the sustenance of our
scholarship programme and other capacity building
initiatives.
I did assure the Senate Committee on Petroleum
(Upstream) that due to the efforts of the Hon. Minister of
Petroleum Resources, Mrs Diezani-Alison Madueke the
release of our funds is imminent. It is on the strength of
this we have advertised for the 2014/2015 Overseas
Scholarship Scheme and we expect that interested
Nigerians who are qualified for the Scheme will apply
within the time frame allowed for submission of
applications.
.
Gentlemen of the press, PTDF as an Agency of government
does have some financial challenges. This is not unusual as
other public agencies and private organizations sometimes
experience glitches in the processing of funds. The good
news is that the relevant authority responsible for our
funding is on top of the situation. We therefore expect that
within a very short time all outstanding financial issues will
be resolved.
Thank you
Oluwole Oluleye Ph.D
