De Raufs offers Arik Stowaway boy scholarship to University level

De Raufs, has volunteered to sponsor 15year old stowaway teenager, Daniel Ohikhena who sensationally hid in the tyre compartment of Arik air flight from Benin to Lagos.

According to Leadership newspaper,In a statement signed by the Director General of the group, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, the group stated that it  is ready to give scholarship to Daniel up to university level and help him realise his dream of travelling by air legitimately. Shittu said,
"genius and ambitious citizens of our country must not besuffocated on the alter of political and bureaucratic enforcement, the little boy’s ambition should be nurtured through qualitative
education, and the group is ready to give the boy all the necessary support to make his dream a reality.
We are  sincerely willing to offer him the scholarship in other to encourage thousands of teenagers who are genius and ambitious, the leaders in Nigeria fail on their part to see the potential of the little boy ,therefore De Raufs take up the responsibility to safe the future of this great boy and not turning him to criminal."
Me thinks stuff like this is what the boy deserves.....

  5. Yes fine. So kind of you. But what bout assu strike? Will it be good that assu has to strike during daniel's time for the same reasons? Lets call a spade a spade and not a hoe. Education in nigeria, needs serious fixing. I say quality education over scholarships to poorly funded, poorly managed universities.

  10. Thanks to the Rauf's.This is laudable and quite appreciated.
From dental news,we are also offering you free dental treatment and pray for your success while Arik air awaits you to fly one of their planes as a pilot.
Boy,i salute your courage and appreciate your guts.
As for other kids pls dont try it ,it is dangerous moreso the airport security is now very much awake from their sleep courtesy of Daniel.
Nigeria goverment should pls make life easier for us so we we dont continue to pull dangerous stunts to survive, all we ask for is basic amenities of life.Good luck Daniel.

  16. Words are not enough to describe the level of adject poverty and hardship our leaders have subjected us to. Dont forget he is one of this milenium baby, who is not use to our kind of patience and disciple of the "oldis", having being tourtured by the "how life should be" from Holywood movies he then opted for it. This to him was the surest escape from the death wishes of our leaders. Many kudos to that group for not allowing BOKO HARAM to get to Daniel first, you saved Nigerians more than the eyes can see. Dont forget some took after militancy, terrorism, robery, yahoo, etc, to escape this death wish. Very soon it wil be "Anarchy" if things continue like this. - C.V. OWHEZI .C, Benin City.
