Couple of the day: Charly boy and Lady DI

Call them weird, but this couple has defied all odds and have stuck together through thick and thin.Charly boy and his American wife Lady DI celebrated their 35 year anniversary as man and wife on the 12th of March 2012.They have 8 kids and 11 grand children.

The couple met at a hair saloon back in USA.Lady Di has often said her initial attraction for him was borne out of the fact that he was Nigerian and she hadn't dated a Nigerian man.She also said he got her out on a date after coaxing her into believing it was an invitation to attend a function.She has also attested to the fact that they started off with nothing and even sold peppersoup to make a living

In an interview she granted vanguard on her challenges,she said "I think the challenges really came later because whenever you’re going into a relationship with someone who was married with children, you don’t really think about those things that are yet to come. It was later in your marriage life that you’ll really replay the picture. I didn’t really see those initial challenges.
