Something struck me about her,she had a bad case of acne and pimples.I was just about to call her aside and give her some free natural tips ,when she said"Aunt i have beauty products for sale".I'm a sucker for skin products,thats my weakness,i have so many products i don't even use.Just love to watch them on my makeup counter.Those are my own Louboutins(lol)
Well, i thought it was a mis-match, that she had bad skin and was selling beauty products.Was ready to forgive her when she said"I actually sell these pimple removal cream".Excuse me?I retorted staring @ her face.I mean,is this some kind of joke or mistake?Lady,your face looks like you grow pimples for a living.Didn't tell her that though.This lady went on and on about the efficacy of this product"In 14 days,your pimples would disappear,your face would be as smooth as a baby's butt".I was too shocked to utter a word because she obviously thought the pimples on her face were beauty marks.
I just said"Im sorry,i really cant buy now".She said"those scars on your face don't look good".I turned around to say "Your face looks like a grater..when one lady behind me called on her"Please give me one".I wanted to scream"Cant you see that our pimple healer cant heal her own pimples with these magic 14 day pimple blaster?"
Then i held back...maybe the saying is true after all"Doctors are hardly healed by their own medicine".Thats why native doctors claim to make others rich while they still live in penury...
Well, it was an eye opener for me.This lady definitely was a bad business woman ,but in naija,anything is possible.She left that saloon with an almost empty bag,and of course her Pimpled infested face.
By the way, I use lemon and toothpaste for my pimples,works miracles...wink

ReplyDeleteI find the story funny sha. I used to sell cosmetic products at some point and I had some badass fresh face. People bought those products assuming that that was what I used too without knowing that I was an Adi Agbon/Ori (coconut oil/shea butter) addict...shio!

ReplyDeletelol @ all comments...let me give u tips about pimples - d fact s @ a stage n a woman's life we all need active ingredients esp on d face area, so shea butter may not be it, it may work but for d deep penetration u cannot bet it, for me i do shinto clinical face wash, never use soap for ur bath on ur face, after washing use paper towel to clean ur face, never use towels on ur face u know y??...imagine d germs from ur body, butts, to ur feet and now plastering on d face yucky...d face s d most sensitive part of d body and lastly get a spray on toner also from Shinto, this wl prevent ur face from drying out and it's also like an anti uv protection for d face...by the time u finish a bottle each u must come back to thank me, when d spots come out, never pick on them get some anti-spot blocker and drop on d spots and watch them dry away....goodluck
