Is this Offensive?

I'm undecided about what to make of this Ad.A close friend says its an insult to slim girls. If it were the other way round, the company would have been castigated for being discriminatory and insulting towards the full figured ladies.Well, I know there has been a lot of backlash at most brands who portray slim/thin girls as the defination of beauty but...
I mean bones are for the "Dog"?Well,keeping my fingers crossed on this one.
