Osita Iheme known as Paw Paw has dispelled rumours he and his close friend,Chinedu Ikedieze(Aki) have gone their separate ways.This was after and interview Aki granted alluding to that fact.Paw Paw set the record straight saying

“Aki was trying to explain why we no longer lived together in our former apartment, Which was because the owner of the apartment wanted to make use of it and the fact is that we are not getting younger. We cannot live together forever. Even biological twins eventually separate to pursue their careers and lives. This does not mean they are not connected. There was reason for us to stay apart and I don’t think that should justify our ‘separation’ doing the rounds.”
“Those who might have been worried about this rumour should disregard it because Aki and I are still together. In fact, we did a movie entitled “Aki the Blind” together recently.”

Housewife dumps day-old baby into toilet without husband's knowledge

Residents in Okpoko of Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State were, on Thursday, shocked when the news broke that a housewife in the community, names withheld, had dumped her newborn baby into the toilet.

She was said to have a protruded stomach, a peculiar nature that made many people in the area, not to be aware that she was pregnant.She decided to dump the newborn baby into the toilet, to save her the agony of nursing a baby, which, she said, could disturb her business.

Nigerian Tribune gathered that when a member of the family, her brother-in-law, wanted to use the toilet, he discovered that water could not flush the waste, as his faeces remained floating.

Road Side Blast kills 35 in Adamawa

35 people including five military personnel and a local hunter were killed by a bomb explosion today in  Mararaba-Mubi area of Adamawa State.
Vanguard reports that eyewitness told Newsmen in Yola, that ,the bomb planted by the insurgents exploded killing 35 people instantly.

According to the eyewitness, the scene of the blast was a busy area where people returning to the area after the recapture of Mubi gather to do one business or the other.
He added that the explosive might have been planted there overnight and it went off while people gather there in the morning.

Cobbler robs,hacks trader to death in Ikorodu(photo)

A 25-year-old man, Eje Ebi, has been hacked to death by a cobbler, Adesina Osinowo, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.

Punch Metro gathered that the victim was hacked with machete in the head and hand when the suspect wanted to dispossess him of some money he was taking to the market to buy clothes.

The incident happened at the Kokoro Abu Roundabout.His brother, Azubuike Ebi, said,

Policeman kills first class graduate over girlfriend

Thirty-year-old first class graduate of Economics from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Moses Murtala Aminu was shot dead by a constable with the Nigeria Police.

Nigerian prosecutors opened their case on Wednesday against a 14-year-old girl accused of murdering her 35-year-old husband, with testimony from a child allegedly sent to buy the murder weapon: rat poison.

Wasila Tasi’u, from a poor, rural family ,could face the death penalty if convicted in a case that has outraged rights activists who say a girl who married a man more than twice her age should be treated as a victim, not a criminal.

According to Vanguard, Prosecutor Lamido Abba Soron-Dinki’s first witness was a seven-year-old girl identified as Hamziyya, who was living in the same house as Tasi’u and her husband Umar Sani, when the child-bride allegedly laced his food with rat poison.
