Obama Calls President Jonathan,hails him for his statemanship

According to presidential spokesperson,Reuben Abati,President Obama called president Jonathan last night to commend him for ensuring peaceful elecions in Nigeria..The US president had earlier released a statement to that effect..
The Presidents of S/Africa, Côte d'Ivoire, Archbishop of Canterbury and others also called President Jonathan to hail him for his statesmanship,

Meanwhile the hashtag #Gejismyhero was trending on twitter all through last night ,as Nigrians spelt out reasons why the president is their hero..

      Yea Gina, he did the right thing but he did something no president in history has done in Nigeria and many parts of the worlD. And yes, he had a choice, he could have as well come out and publicly showed his reservations to the electoral process then belive me, you would understand how big a deal what he did is. Take for instance, Goodluck waited till the result was announced, do u think certain aggrieved people won't take laws into their hands? I learned Goodluck called militants even before calling Buhari and told them to take it all in good fate. U won't understand what that man did. It goes beyond just humility, he deserves every appreciation
